A Selection of Railway Photos and Videos, mostly from the Midlands

As usual, I wasn't sure which route this would take, but a sighting was posted of it at Kidderminster and within seconds I was rushing out of the house to get to the station. I arrived at Old Hill, rather exhausted, trying to decide where to take the photo. The sun would be above & behind the train, leaving everything in shadow, so I decided that if it followed the stopping train I would catch that train to Rowley & hope the light would be better there. Fortunately, there was a short part of the platform in sunlight and no passengers were waiting on the platform to get in the way. I still wasn't sure if I had missed it, then it appeared in the distance before the "stand clear" message came over the speakers. Needless to say my camera was not set up ready, but a test shot seemed fine with the train going like the clappers in the distance. The other photos also came out well.
