I was checking e-mails regularly for any reports on the train. Just finished cooking my egg on toast when I noticed it had passed Worcester at 5pm - that was 15 minutes earlier, just time to eat up & get to the station before the train. I was expecting it to follow the 5.36 stopper, but it didn't. To cut a long story short, I asked the question "where is it" and received the reply on uk-rail, "last report Stourbridge 5.27". The sun had been just right when I first arrived at the station, but the clouds came and went, as did the rain. The sky went from blue to grey & white. The train eventually ambled through at 7.03 in awful light conditions. Oh the joy of living round the Dark Side, this has been my only train on the main line this week.
