KC is settled in the cottage now

She didn’t wake us up until 07.45 this morning, so has settled in to her new (temporary) surroundings very well. Once back in the cottage after her walk & our day out, she is well & truly exhausted. Apart from eating & sitting on our laps, she spends most of her time asleep on her blanket. She’ll probably be glad to get back home for a rest!

66093 in Cornwall

After walking KC along the Camel Trail & seeing 4247 at Boscarne Junction, we headed for Fowey, via Par – reason, to see a freight.  The train was 6C21 hauled by 66093, loaded fuel tanks from St. Blazey to Long Rock.

In the evening, 6M72 was due to run, St. Blazey to Cliffe Vale. Saw it at Bodmin, loco was 66093 again.

Back at the cottage, looking through egroup postings, I realised I had missed the VSOE Pullman at Par, on a working from Birmingham to Plymouth. It was booked through Par at 11.48 & I was there about 30 minutes later!
