Nice shot of D1013:-

The steamers at Bewdley were both backwards, so nothing exciting there. Calling in at Kidderminster, 50026 was on the turntable, so my first photos of that Class 50.

Thought I had added this to the blog, but on checking – I obviously forgot…….

A “standard gauge” loco weekend. I was pleased to see a good variety of locos, including a 47XX & a pair of 9Fs. I believe Saturday was a busier day and the new tunnel was also officially opened, but Sunday was the only day we could attend.

The trackwork for the new extension is progressing well and a works train can be seen, also the new tunnel (not yet open for public service trains)

Sorted the first batch of photos from Thursday, those taken at Burton. Also included are some HSTs and the other multiple units seen during the time I was there.

The main reason for the visit was to see 56303 and the pair of 47s, the sunshine was a bonus.
