5764 & 7812 were the steamers operating. 37906 was on Footplate Experience with a GW set.

Wasn’t planning on taking any photos, as the locos would be “backwards”, but was surprised when 37906 arrived on a GW set. I was eating my lunch at the time, but rushed out with a camera and managed a shot, slightly under-exposed though. Seems it was on a “Footplate Experience”. 7812 was also photographed. The other steamer was 5764, which was already in the station when we arrived.

Didn’t do so well with the photos today, had accidentally altered one of the settings on the camera. That’ll teach me to take my reading glasses with me!
After seeing the 56 & 47s at Burton, we headed for Derby, to see the DRS 37s on the test train which was travelling lines in the area. A bonus was 31465, totally unexpected.
It made a change to see the East Midlands livery, which is not seen in the Birmingham area. Even the 222 units were a change from the usual Arriva or Virgin Voyagers.
The bonus shot:-
