Same locos working as the previous day, but choosing different locations at the station and using a zoom lens for most of the photos has helped give some different shots.
I like “framed” shots…….

A small set of photos showing the 5 locos in action, including my first sight of 6695 working a train at the SVR

A few hours out with Andrew to see 47270 & 70002. The day didn’t go to plan, the 47 was reported running very early & we had to go to “plan b”. This didn’t work, the diesel was back on schedule and appeared in the distance just as our DMU approached from the other direction to take us to Walsall. All we could do was watch it out of the window as it passed our train, or wait 60 minutes for next DMU!
The 70 was running late, we decided to head to Tame Bridge to (hopefully) see 47270 on the return to Crewe. This time we were lucky, but 70002 was through Walsall before we returned. The bonus was 37087 & 47712 on a Norwich to Crewe move, also 6006 on empty steel from Wolverhampton.
