Called in at Kidderminster & the Mess Van was in the bay, the sun was shining so couldn’t resist a few photos.

This view shows the “front” end:-

Margaret was on the first train with her family, KC & I were to meet them at Arley. Unfortunately the severe frost caused problems with the points and trains were running extremely late. 42968 is also seen, but at the rear of the working from Bridgnorth behind 6695. Good to see 43106 in action again.

The first train was top & tailed, as the points could not be used to run the loco round for the return run. By the time the second train arrived the points were working and “normal service could be resumed” but trains were not running to time.
