Just for a change we headed for Alveley Country Park, which is about 10 minutes walk from Country Park Halt. We were there in time to see a train for Bridgnorth pass by before catching the train to Arley. We had already seen 4566 heading south as we walked to the halt, but it was in the sidings at Highley as we passed through, although it did continue south later in the day. Two diesels were seen running, the 20 being on a dining charter & the 50 on a service train.
Let’s have some diesels for a change!
