After completing my household “chores” I was able to get a few hours out to see Clan Line at Tamworth. It was heading south from Crewe on a loaded test run to Northampton, then just loco & support coach to Wimbledon. From reading timings posted on the internet, it was limited to 50mph as far as Stafford, then 75mph to Northampton. 67027 would return with the empty stock.
Drifting steam & a soft exhaust didn’t help as the loco passed by:-
The photo gallery updates were completed yesterday, the blog today. All hard work on the poor old brain, but saying that – WordPress more or less updates itself, all I have to do is make sure I back up the database first.
That’s all the galleries updated, again. Only seems a few weeks since I updated to 1.5.8. Suppose it gets easier each time, probably have forgotten it all again by the time the next update is relased.
There is a later version of WordPress for this blog, something to do another night.
