Third time lucky, got to see the Scot on a test run from Bridgnorth. I filmed it running tender first into the station. Before returning, it was given a quick check, the oil can was out and you could see the crew inspecting the loco. I filmed some long zoom shots, doing the best I could from up on the footbridge before it headed back to Bridgnorth.
Looking at the above image, it’s quite good considering it is just a frame from the video!
Had a few hours filming the trains in action at the above event at Hereford. There was so much action it was almost non stop filming. I’ve started uploading videos but it will take a while to finish them all, especially with the Severn Valley gala later this week. Had a meal on the Venturer, so no videos from Arley today! Anyway, took a couple of photos from the train, one of which is of D8568 at Kidderminster. Not had time to stick it in the gallery as I usually do, so have posted it here.
