Rather strange starting an album with photos of a Lancaster, but the 2nd of July was a1940s event and the 'plane was due to fly over the Railway. First of all it flew south and minutes later it returned northbound.
The usual photos of trains start on the next page, and you will notice that 2-10-0 no. 92212 & 2-8-0 no. 2857 both entered traffic during July.
