60163 had hauled the train from London to Worcester and is seen here on the return run climbing through Old Hill. A Class 66 diesel had been attached at Worcester to provide assistance on the climb to the summit at Rowley Regis, the exhaust from the diesel shows that it was working as it approached and it sounded quite loud as it passed the station.
