7752 & 9600 on The East Midlands Rambler

My first photo is a poor shot at Aston on the first leg of the journey from Tyseley to Birmingham International. After running round at International the Panniers ran chimney first to Coalville via the Lichfield City route, the other photos were taken on the climb through Gravelly Hill. We were worried about a Birmingham bound EMU blocking our shot, but a friendly driver said he would wait for the train to pass if it appeared in the distance. The railtour was running a few minutes late & the EMU departed, with the driver looking forward to seeing the special train. A few minutes later the signal turned to amber & the next local train was approaching - we were worried about our view being blocked again, but curiously the signal changed back to red. Soon after, the railtour could be heard in the distance and the train was soon seen rounding the bend, with the signal still red for local, so no problems taking photos. Anyway, delay to the local train was a points failure at Aston, there was a delay of about 20 minutes before it departed.
