"Sharpo's World" for Transport Photos & Videos

This was the day the new crossover was installed on Network Rail at Kidderminster. Three Class 66 locos are seen, also a train of tilting wagons, used to bring the new points. These are probably my last photos of the old semaphores on the main line at Kidderminster, as colour light signals replaced them the following weekend. Also seen are the derailers on the 3-way point, protecting the exchange siding from any unauthorised moves from the carriage works, and the new point in the exchange siding which gives access to Network Rail. Our journey was to Arley and back, which gave me the opportunity to take some photos from the train as we passed the engineer's train. Note the muscle power on the pump trolley!
