In the 1970’s & 80’s I used to take “ordinary” photos with a cheap 35mm Kodak camera. The quality was not brilliant a lot of the time and over the years I hardly ever looked at the photos, but I think now they are of interest as they show the Railway in the earlier years of preservation.
The colour negatives seem better quality than my old slides, maybe because they were taken in later years and with a better camera. They are quicker to scan as there are 4 images on each strip of negative. The main problem is they are jumbled in with traction engine rallies, and other non railway photos, so progress on this will be slow.
There are no dates to go with the photos, so just enjoy them as they are.
