I’d heard an Advenza freight working was due to run from Cardiff to Stockton. As I rarely see these workings I was determined not to miss this one running during the day. Unfortunately there were no updates during the morning to confirm it was on time, but I headed to Longbridge hoping to see it pass by. Turned out to be a wasted journey as it did not run!

At least the sun was shining but all I saw were DMUs & EMUs. The only good thing was that some of the units had not yet appeared in the photo gallery.
