It is not easy to find any timings for Royal Train workings. On Tuesday 46201 Princess Elizabeth had worked through here with support coach to Newport, and I apparently missed it by a few minutes at Kidderminster. Then on Wednesday, after hauling the Royal Train from South Wales to Hereford, 46201 worked via Shrewsbury back down through Old Hill with the train to Worcester - but with a diesel leading from Hereford. I was at Kidderminster museum & heard it whistling through the station, and just managed a glimpse of the train in the distance. Then today a text from the Worcester area informed me the empty stock had run down this way again. Annoyed I had missed it again, then surprise, 20 minutes later another text informed it was heading back towards Birmingham. Heading for the station and hoping it would come this way, I waited for the stopping train to pass by, then about 6 minutes later the Royal Train appeared. 4th time lucky!
