Old Hill is a nightmare for photographing "extra" trains, as they often seem to pass a service train on the opposite track at the station. So I played safe & took my shots from the footbridge, but no other train came as the bubble car passed by. My plan had been to go to Stourbridge to see it on the return run, but it was running late & was behind the local train. I didn't want to catch the later local and miss the shot at Stourbridge so decided to wait at Cradley for it - as it was booked to stop. The southbound trains were running late and instead of getting a shot of it from the other platform, I had to race up onto the footbridge for my shots, a 6-car dmu was completely blocking the view from the platform I was on. The bubble car went straight though without stopping, so only footbridge shots!
