This gala had a “Somerset & Dorset” theme, with most locos renumbered as former S&D locos for the weekend.

BR Standard 4-6-0 no. 75014 was the visiting loco for this event, as no. 75009.

Over the weekend I visited most of the stations along the line, as the photos will show. The “local” trains always add plenty of interest, involving plenty of shunting at the intermediate stations.
