The platform was closed as workmen were preparing the area for the erection of the new footbridge. As it was December, very few trains were running the whole length of the line and the one seen today was a Christmas Lunch dining train. Unfortunately for me, the loco was bunker first, but it’s not every day you see a passenger train running through the station on the middle siding. I believe there was a speed limit of 5mph as passenger trains don’t normally run on either of the 2 sidings.
