The last time I visited this Railway I was still using a film camera, and that seems many years ago! Having attended many traction engine rallies last year I felt a change was needed and Stapleford Open Days have the best of both worlds, trains & traction engines etc. Railways have always been my real favourite and the day wasn’t long enough to photograph both trains & traction engines, so the trains won!
5 locos were hauling the trains and I think the photos show how popular the railway was during the day:-
