Some DRS locos were due to run through Leamington, so it seemed a good place to go for a few hours. If our local line trains had been running to time, Andrew & I would have seen another DRS loco at Leamington, but Chiltern trains don’t “connect” with Stourbridge line trains at Snow Hill so all we could do was watch it disappear into the tunnel as we raced to the escalator. Must admit 37, 2 x 47s & a 57 were a good result, along with 66s & 67s.
Highlight was seeing the “Cruise Saver Travel Express”, the DRS Pullman stock running from Manchester to Southampton.
