Made a special effort to photograph this as it would be the first time I had seen a Class 92 electric on a passenger train, the 1Z33 from Ealing Broadway to Southport. Don’t think the rain stopped the whole time I was at Tame Bridge, and to make matters worse there were problems with flooding the other side of Birmingham and what appeared to be signalling problems in the Tame Bridge area. As usual, a few units gave me something to photograph, with the bonus of some diesel locos, although I didn’t get to see 59201, which had worked the special to Birmingham International
