What else could I call it? 4 x DRS Class 37s all in one photo was a real treat, certainly didn’t expect that! I knew there was an Eastleigh to Derby working but only knew of 2 locos on it, the Stowmarket to Crewe was a real surprise.
The original plan was to see the train at Tyseley, but hearing an Advenza working was heading north (I always miss the scrap runs) a change of plan was needed. If they ran to time I would see them both between 1pm & 2pm, which fitted in well with local passenger trains stopping at Water Orton.
All the trains seen in the photos passed by within that hour.
