Walking alongside the River Severn on 14th February, the 12.00 train from Arley did not show. We walked up to the station to buy our sandwiches, only to find a loco at Bridgnorth had been failed and the Class 20 had been sent to haul the train. It was very late arriving at Arley, but the loco was carrying a “Thunderbird 1” headboard.
