The end of season rally, I was here for a few hours and concentrated on filming the buses used for the bus rides. Registrations of buses seen in photos and videos as follows:-

Spent a couple of hours at the Museum & filmed the bus in operation. I know nothing about buses but a search tells me it’s a GEA174 Daimler CVG6 with Weymann bodywork. Other vehicles seen were B900TFO, MXX340 and 6342HA – brief details with photos.

Last day of Festive Season trains, had a brief visit to see 1501 & 2857, both of which will be taken out of service for storage or overhaul.
First passenger trains at the Severn Valley Railway following the latest lockdown. Two of the locos working services today are seen, also 220030 & 172007. 172340 also speeds past as the Pannier approaches.
The next video at Kidderminster shows 34027 being coaled, D2960 shunting & the arrival of D1062, which soon sets back with the empty stock.
This was filmed after my trip to Stafford to see the Class 88, obviously having a good day out!!
5Z44 ecs Bristol Temple Meads – Birmingham New Street running again. Filmed the first 2 days at Cradley Heath, 221144 on Tuesday, 221128 On Wednesday, change of scenery for 220018 on Thursday at Stourbridge. Didn’t bother on Friday as it was 221144 again.
A quick trip to Stafford and back to see the first passenger train hauled by a Class 88, 1Z88 Euston – Carlisle. Also a couple of 90s on 4M27 Coatbridge – Daventry.
After two earlier visits during the day, I was back again for another freight hauled by 66114. Couldn’t read any Voyager numbers but other units were 172214, 1723334, 170502, 153354, 172219 & 172221.
The Lickey was closed and Cross Country trains and the occasional freight were sent via the Dark Side. These trains were filmed on a couple of visits to the station during the day. Numbers I could read are:- 172221, 170638, 170522, 66183, 66057, 172332, 43366, 43285, 170518, 170101, DR98909, DR98959, 43321, 43357, not forgetting some Voyagers.
Here are some more old videos, mostly at Arley but I do travel to Highley & back. It was fun trying to film the birds flying in and out of their “nest”.
