We’ll start today at Bewdley in 2010, with 7812 & 43106, then a West Coast ecs working at Langley Green with 47826 in 2013 and finally a video of 34027 arriving at Kidderminster in 2016.
A couple more ordinary shots never uploaded, Metro trams 04 and 06 at West Bromwich in 2002, HST 43357 at Longbridge in 2009, then 1000, 600, 48773, 4930, 7714 & 80079 in The Engine House in 2010, and finally a video of 68003, 90012 & 37509 at Tamworth in 2015.
We start with 6024 up the Lickey in 2005, then 66124 at Stourbridge Junction in 2010 and finally 42968 at Bewdley in 2012. Only the King in my gallery, I’ve missed out so much over the years! It takes up more time when I have to find the photos then edit and upload them, so much easier if they are already online.
Well, very little happened for me on this date in previous years, but an outing to Water Orton meant I saw 97302 & 97301 in 2009. A video from 2014 shows 37605 & 37612 at Smethwick Galton Bridge. Loads more photos.
I called in at Kidderminster this afternoon hoping to see 6023 before it headed to Bridgnorth. It was outside the carriage works, but after about 15 minutes it steamed slowly away then ran backwards and forwards on both platform roads, probably for gauging purposes. Around 4pm after the arrival of a service train it headed away towards Bewdley and Bridgnorth. I did film it all but the first upload failed and the second attempt is only 25% complete, so here are some photos clipped from the video.
First photo from 2009 at Water Orton and 56303, then Bromsgrove in 2010 sees 66105 running down and entering the old station. A treat at Stourbridge in 2014 was 37605 on a test train, thinking about it – haven’t seen a test train round here for ages! The SVR photo shows 1501 at Arley in 2013.
Limited choice today. In 2008 4771 Green Arrow is seen departing from Consall, then 34053 entering Kidderminster in 2013. The only video I can find is 66304 on the Tesco, in the dark, at Old Hill.
I knew the loco was on the way from Didcot, but didn’t know when it was due to arrive. Apparently it had arrived earlier in the day, but I was fortunate to get a clear shot of it in the afternoon as it was shunted. Hoping to see much more of it during the Gala next month!
I wanted to call in at the SVR, hoping to see the blue King (which I did) and it was also convenient to see the Berkeley 6M56 to Crewe about 20 minutes later.
Another day with very little choice. 7802 and 45110 at Bewdley in 2003. A distant shot of 5764 near Arley in 2009. 70013 and 30777 at Small Heath in 2010 and finally 47712 and 57009 at Kings Norton in 2011.
A very limited choice today, plenty of cars at SVR 60s events but very few trains. When I have more time I must sort through the road vehicle photos. Firstly, E6005 is seen at Bewdley in 2004, then 43106, 46443 & 7812 in 2010 at Bewdley. Finally a video from the train of the site for the SVR Diesel Depot in 2015.
Not a lot of choice on this date, 2002 has a Metro tram, then 7812 at Kidderminster in 2010, then Dorridge in 2012 for 31285 and finally 56078 at Old Hill in 2014.
