60007 rolled down through the station just before 8pm and running a bit late. Tried some photos, but not sure what they’ll come out like.

SVR Saturday 28th Feb
46443, 7812 & 5164 working trains today, all seen at Arley lunchtime.
183 photos uploaded
All the photos from the 60s Transport Day are now online. Still a few comments to add, but all registration numbers are there.
Main line tours
I keep looking for any tours at weekends around this area, but still very quiet.
The Birmingham -York & return tomorrow, 47 hauled on outward trip & 60007 on return, is too early leaving for me to see & gets back in the dark – so no photos of “Gresley” until the SVR gala the following weekend.
Plenty happening in other parts of the country though!
60s Transport Day photos
Have been busy working on these, uploaded those from Highley & Bridgnorth – plenty more to follow
Saw 97301 & 97302 today
After missing them yesterday, I was determined to have another go today. Went to Water Orton 2 hours earlier and was there earlier enough to see them.
So even more photos to play with now……..
I seem to keep losing days
They don’t half fly by. Yesterday was trying to create some more maps, then backing up hard drives – it all takes time.
And I don’t seem to have done anything worthwhile tonight, too many fiddly things keep getting in the way
3 hours at Water Orton today
Usual mixture of trains, but 97301 & 97302 went through 45 minutes before I got there. 47727 was seen and the highlight was Fastline 56303
SVR Sunday 22nd Feb
5764, 7812 & 4566 all working trains, seen lunchtime around Arley
Wolverhampton page
This has now been created and links from the map and from the “via Sandwell & Dudley” route.
SVR Saturday 21st Feb
It was 60s Transport Day. Loads of road vehicles on display at Kidderminster, Bewdley, Arley, Highley & Bridgnorth. Stopping off at all the above stations, travelled on DMU & hauled by 46443 & 7812. The 3rd steamer was 4566.
Gradually improving the map
The “interactive” map has had more links added. Most of the stations between Snow Hill & Stourbridge now have a page, which links to all the photos at that station or close by. Three stations on the Sandwell & Dudley route have also been linked.
Will have to get a West Midlands Day tripper or wait to get my 60s pass so that I can travel to the stations that I have no photos for.
