This train passed through Leamington on 28/05/09 as an empty stock working from Eastleigh to Carnforth, soon after the open weekend at Eastleigh.
I usually show a photo of a loco, but for a change:-

The “flying banana” or Measurement Train passed through on a Derby to Cheltenham working today. Only 2 photos as I can’t easily adjust the camera at present.
One of the photos, showing 43062 here:-
Bewdley, lunchtime, 5764 on the train for Bridgnorth. Half hour or so later, 4566 on the other train for Kidderminster.
OK so far, but looking forward to bones healing and plaster coming off
After dropping off 2 class 50s and a class 73 at Kidderminster, 47580 continues its journey from Long Marston to Tyseley.
The shot could have been spoiled by a dmu:-
Must have been 24 hour flu.
Not a good day, in bed ’til lunchtime, and still felt awful when I got up.
Cough mixture and other cold remedies are hopefully helping, don’t want another day like this.
Sunday started off wet, but unfortunately didn’t clear up early enough for a couple of hours out. KC at least had a walk up the park, but not with me!
Didn’t even go up the park with KC today (Saturday) in fact I don’t think it stopped raining all day.
Mustn’t get my plaster cast wet!!
Had an x-ray today and now have a full plaster.
For anybody who knows bones, the radius was broken and the ulna was chipped – I asked the doc today.
I’m taking it very easy with my right arm, hoping it heals properly over the next few weeks!
Routed round my way for a change, but ran at least 2 hours early, so missed it – what a bummer!
Bewdley lunchtime, just missed seeing one of the trains, but was told it was a Pannier, and as 7714 was “on shed” at Bewdley – it must’ve been 5764. The other was hauled by 7812.
