The northbound freight is booked through Stourbridge just before my “first” train arrives, so I would usually miss it – but on this day it was running about 30 minutes late. KC was with me & we caught the train to Stourbridge, so she had to be in a photo, as you will see! The first train is 6M81 loaded steel to Round Oak, the second is 6V05 empties back to Margam.

Here is one of those “forgotten” sets of photos. I uploaded them weeks ago but never finished all the descriptions. The loco numbers have been added, as has the location, but nothing else. Quite a few locos were seen, but the highlight was a pair of 37s on a DRS container train – 37610 & 37605. Other locos includes 57s, 66s, 67s, 86s & 90s.

The warmer weather tempted me to get some gardening done, but at the expense of other tasks. I’ve lost track of recent photos and what has been uploaded & what hasn’t. Then there are photos that have been uploaded but not mentioned in this blog. Will I ever catch up with myself??
The Chiltern “Bubblecar” was being used for route learning & is seen at Rowley Regis. It had travelled from Tyseley and would reverse at Rowley and head towards Birmingham International.
KC was with me and enjoyed her train ride to Rowley.
