Dull conditions but worth attempting a video of such an interesting working. The DMU was a practise shot before the 56 appeared, I used manual focus – which probably was the safest bet in low light.
Well, I wouldn’t show the DMU, would I…..

Working backwards through the videos, quite normal for me, Saturday was the day that 1450 & the auto train worked through Arley at a convenient time for me. Four other locos were also seen, making a pleasant change from the blue timetable in previous weeks.
The auto train had to be the photo here
First time in daylight for ages, the “Tesco Express” and of course a DMU coming downhill at the same time.
I think the angle of the sun gets worse as the evenings get lighter
Managed a video of all 5 locos at Arley on Sunday. As with all my photos at Arley, it’s not possible to get many more different types of shot, but some sound and movement makes up for that.
This video of 7812 came out better than expected, it crept up towards Arley & I grabbed my camcorder & had to start filming without my glasses
Good to see a pair of 20s on the Berkeley flask train again. Following the stopper so not running very fast.
Just the one video & only 23 seconds long
