I had been hoping to see 34007 on the second train from Kidderminster, but it had been replaced by 2857 due to a problem. Never mind, I took plenty of photos of it over the past few weeks.
I wonder if a 28XX ever did work “The Red Dragon”?
The weather is improving & KC is now coming with us at weekends. A few photos at Arley before heading to the arboretum for some long shots across the valley. Little did I realise that these would be my final shots of 34007, as it did not run on Sunday – and I missed the chimney first northbound shot as it worked the first train off Kidderminster and not the second as planned.
