More locos for the SVR gala! First 0Z12 from Crewe, then 0Z56 from Nottingham. The re-liveried WM unit 172339 also seen, oh, and the clock in the car park doesn’t seem to be working. The time is wrong on it and the “arms” probably don’t go up and down anymore.

Another visit to Kidderminster to see the return of the convoy and D832 on its first day in service since arriving for the gala. The Deltic start up as the warship arrives – so be ready for that. 68018 and 68016 pass by on the Berkeley and finally D832 is seen departing.

A slightly smaller photo than those from my mobile, but cropped from a video. The convoy had arrived and set back in the loop alongside D832, then as the convoy headed for the yard there was an opportunity to get 4 locos in the one shot. It was good to see D832 work a train today, the video of it not yet edited though. I’ve certainly got plenty of good material to add to my galleries when time permits, another winter project perhaps!!

EDIT – Added later – An explanation about the “quality”! I know it’s not good, but within 30 minutes of leaving the footbridge, I had walked to the station, caught a train to Cradley and this blog post was online. The “images” are photos taken by my mobile of the video playing on the camcorder LCD screen, one as the train stopped at Blakedown the other at Hagley. Images uploaded at Stourbridge, then blog post written between there and Cradley.
