Thunderbirds are go….. They were en route from Oxley to Eastleigh, and I was surprised they came this way & not down the Lickey, but I’m not complaining!
Makes a change from the darkness of Old Hill, just further for me to walk!

9600 was having a main line test run after overhaul. It had run to Stratford, light engine, and was returning to Stratford.
Seen at Hall Green
Only bothered to take photos of 1744 today – taking it easy for a change.
And a nice shot of 1744 pulling away
It was good to see the loco at the SVR, had a few rides behind it.
After getting plenty of photos of the “visitors” this last week, it’s back to walks along the river & a few distant shots before going to the station.
Something different for a change, KC learning about the token!!!!!
Mostly at Highley, but a couple of shots of 60163 tender first at Kidderminster. Jacket potato & chili at The Engine House was nice, as was seeing all 4 locos during the short time we were there.
Well, it has to be another of Tornado here…..
Only called in for lunch at the buffet, but timed it to coincide with 2 of the trains, hauled by 1744 & 7812.
We’ll go with a photo of 1744 here, as it is the visitor!
